Chris Mayson
Chris is a GOLF Magazine-Top 100 Teacher, a Golf Digest-Best Young Teacher in America, and one of the Top Ranked Coaches in California according to Golf Digest.
Chris grew up in England and played for the Boys National Team, after finishing Runner Up in the English Boys Strokeplay and English Schools Championships. He was recruited to many US Colleges and chose Purdue University in Indiana where he was the University’s first ever Big Ten Freshman of the Year and multiple All Big Ten Selection.
After a professional career was cut short due to a back injury in 2007, Chris found his true passion of coaching while helping fellow players on the mini tour. After a successful 4 year spell as the Head Coach of the La Costa Resort and Spa Golf Academy, Chris was recruited by Maderas in San Diego to start the Maderas Golf Academy presented by Chris Mayson from 2011-22. Currently Chris spends the summer months as the Director of Instruction at the #5 ranked course in the World, National Golf Links of America in Southampton, NY and at the prestigious Rancho Santa Fe GC in San Diego.
Chris has coached multiple players to the winners’ circle on each of the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour and Epson Tour. He has coached World Number 1s Ariya Jutanugarn, Yani Tseng and Lydia Ko, as well as coaching IK Kim and JeongEun Lee6 to the British Open and US Open Championships respectively. Chris caddied for longtime student Brendan Steele when he won the 2017 PGA Tour Safeway Open and has worked with Kyoung Hoon Lee for over 5 years guiding him from the Korn Ferry Tour to becoming a multiple PGA Tour Champion and Presidents Cup player during that time. Chris has taught many players on the PGA Tour including winners Scott Piercy, Sang Moon Bae and Si Woo Kim.
Chris' passion is in developing elite young players from the junior tours, through college and into the professional ranks. He has had over 100 players gain spots on NCAA Division 1 Teams in the last 12 years and has proudly coached over 50 AJGA Champions. Chris has taught Ricky Castillo from age 12 and helped Ricky become a Number 1 Ranked Junior in America, the Number 1 Ranked Amateur in the World and a Walker Cup star in 2021 going 4-0.
Chris also coached Devon Bling from the age of 14 and helped Devon become a UCLA standout winning multiple college events, he was the 2018 US Amateur Runner Up and he made the cut in the 2019 Masters at Augusta.

Kenny Kim
Kenny is one of the Top Ranked Coaches in Korea according to Golf Digest.
Kenny grew up in South Korea and he started playing golf when He was ten years old.
Kenny and his family moved to United States at 11 years old to pursue his dream to become PGA Tour player. He was named 2004 Gahr High School Athlete of the year and he was recruited to many University and chose to play for University of California Irvine.
He also played three PGA Tour events, include 2006 PGA Tour Buick Open when he was Senior in College. After he turn pro in 2008 he also qualify for 2010 U.S Open at Pebble Beach and played in Canadian Tour in 2011-2012.
After playing professional for seven years and he found his passion for coaching and he started his teaching career in Old Ranch Country Club in Long Beach, CA
While He was teaching at Old Ranch, He started coaching former PGA Tour Player Lucas Lee and traveling together in 2015-2016 season.
In 2020, Kenny moved to Korea and started Han Sung Golf Academy with his close friend named H.K Choi.
Kenny and his partner coached many players to the winners' circle on each of the Kpga tour, Lpga Tour and Klpga Tour. He has coached World Number one Jin Young Ko and Lpga player Soyeon Ryu.
After one year of successfully running the academy, Kenny went his own way and started an academy by and named called Teamkenny Golf Performance.
He has work with one of top Klpga tour player Hee Jeoung Lim for two years and helped her to win the 2022 National Open in Korea.

Jinwook Choe
We are very excited at WGP to introduce one of the best young coaches in Korea and our new Lead Coach, Jinwook Choe.
Jinwook grew up in Korea and played for KPGA challenge tour / Sky tour. He was recruited to Korea National Sports University coach and AMP assistant professor.
After a tour player career was cut short due to a knee injury, he changed his career to coaching while helping fellow players and amateurs.
When Covid stroke, started to run his own Youtube channel. While successfully running Youtube, he took up broadcasting as well. Jinwook is also part of ‘The Golf Coach Association’ , the most renowned association in Korea.
In 2022, Jin founded The Hidden Lab Golf Studio in Seoul and instantly was recognized as a Golf Rising Star Instructor in Korea due to his great work with his students and his quality educational content on YouTube.
